How to Remove the Printed Model

Tools Needed:

Flat pry spatula x1

Scraper x1

Resin-resistant tray x1

1. Hold the smart build platform, and place it on the resin-resistant tray.

Note: It is imperative to wear nitrile gloves when handling any parts that may be contaminated with resin.

2. Using the flat pry spatula, gently pry the edges of the model away from the smart build platform. Create a large enough gap around the perimeter of the model so that the scraper can be inserted to remove the entire model.

Note: While lifting the edges of the model, a slight cracking sound can be heard as the model separates from the platform. Avoid prying up the model too sharply, as this may cause damage.

3. After prying the edges, switch to the scraper. Insert the scraper between the edges and the platform. Gently slide it parallel to the platform, to separate the model around the edges and work towards the center.

Note: Avoid prying the scraper to prevent damaging the model.

4. When the model falls into the resin-resistant tray, the removal is complete. For details on how to clean the residual resin on the platform, please refer to the Printer Maintenance section in the document "Raise3D DF2 3D Printer User Manual".
