[ Manual E2 - How to Unbox - V1.0 ]

Congratulations on purchasing your new Raise3D E2 printer. The following video link provides the complete unpacking and set-up instructions to quickly be familiar with your printer.

Please click here.

1. When you receive your E2 printer, you need to carefully remove this protective packaging.

2. Cut off the packing straps.

3. Cut through the tape with a cutter and open the box.

4. Take out the cardboards around the top foam cover. Five power cables complied with electrical codes of different countries are included in the box.

5. Remove the plastic film and other packing materials.

6. For safety reasons, it’s recommended to lift the package with others’ help.

7. Lift the Raise3D printer out of the foam padding.

8. Carefully place your printer on an open and clean place for further operation.

9. Open the top lid. Remove the X-Axis locks by unscrewing the two thumb screws. Please carefully store the removed locks, so that they can be installed back again for subsequent transportation.

10. Unscrew the two thumb screws of the Z-Axis locks.

11. Connect the power cable to the printer, turn on the switch on the back to power on the printer, and the printer will enter the boot process automatically.

12. Your Raise3D printer will take about 60 seconds to boot. When the touch screen displays the "Home" interface, it means the printer is ready.

13. Click the "Utilities" tab and click the Z-Axis up arrow until the accessory kit can be removed.

14. Open the front door. Lift the accessory package and take it out of the printer.

15. Open the filament box doors on each side of the printer in turn, and fix two filament holders into the mounting holes inside each filament box. Take out two spools of Raise3D PLA printing filament included in the package and put them on the filament holder in two filament boxes separately.

16. In the direction shown in the figure, insert the end of the filament into the filament run-out sensor, then thread it completely through the guide tube. The guide tube can be pulled out by pressing the top of metal quick connector.

Note: The other spool of filament can be loaded similarly. This tutorial takes the right side as a demonstration.

17. Click the "Utilities" tab, then click the "Load" button and the printer will start to warm up.

Note: The loading temperature is determined by the filament you load.

18. When the target temperature is reached, click the "Load" button again. Complete the loading operation according to the screen’s instructions.

19. After both extruders are loaded with filaments, click the “Settings” icon.

20. Go to “Machine”>” Maintenance”>” Offset Calibration” and run the five-step offset calibration wizard.

Note: In order to maintain the print quality, we recommend to run the five-step wizard regularly.
