1. Move the print head to the opposite side to the belt you need adjust.

2. Use a 2mm hex wrench to remove the M3 retaining screw on the pulley. They are located at the end of the belt. Each rod has two retaining screws. There are 4 screws in total.


3. Use a 2.5mm hex wrench to loosen the four M3 cylinder head screws marked in the photo below. These are the screws that fasten the block to the belt.

4. Ask someone to grab both ends of the belt with two pliers. Insert their ends into the block as shown in the figure below. Make sure that the teeth on the belt match the teeth on the block.
If the belt is too long and overlaps within the block, the excess part can be cut off.
Ask the second person to reinstall the four M3 screws with a hex wrench.

5. Press the adjusted belt with your fingers to check whether the tension of the belt is similar to that of the opposite side.
If the belt is still too loose or too tight, go back to step 3.

6. Place the printed fixtures onto the rods.
Note:
1. If you are adjusting the X axis belt, please place them at the right side of the printer head.
2. If you are adjusting the Y axis belt, please put them along the front side of the printer.


Make sure there are no gaps between the sliding block, fixture and the pulley.
7. Tighten the screws on the pulley. There are 4 in total.
