①2.5mm wrench
②2mm wrench
③Philips head screw driver
④ Flush Cutters
⑤Spatula
⑥Zip ties
⑦ Flat head screwdriver
2. Carefully open the Cable Chain with a spatula. (Or a flat head screw driver)
3.Use a 2.5mm wrench to remove the Mounting Block of the Cable Chain from the Top Cover.
4. Use a 2mm wrench to remove the two fixing screws inside the Mounting Block.
5.Using a Philips head screw driver remove all 10 screws on the back panel. Unplug the wire for Air Filter and take off the Back Cover. Remove four screws of Air Filter and remove Air Filter from Back Cover.
6. Unplug the Heating Rod Power connector from Extruder Controller Board
7. Remove the zip ties from under the cover holding the braided sleeve.
8. Remove the tapes and zip ties on the braided sleeve and remove the Heating Rod power cable.
9. Prepare a new cable
10. Insert the replacement wire into the braided sleeve and zip tie the sleeve to the cover.
11. Once wire is in the braided sleeve, close the buckles on cable chain.
12. Pass the other side of the new wire from the bottom hole of the Mounting Box then down through the Wiring Tube. Underneath the Top Cover, secure the cable with zip ties. Be sure to push wire completely through the Wiring Tube. Insert the new wire in the thread hole. (Note: Wire should be going through the braided sleeve.)
13. Carefully lay the printer down on the side opposite the filament door.
14. Open the cover of Electronic Box with flat head screwdriver, unplug the old cable and plug in the new cable after pulling it out from the hole down below. You will need to remove the wire as it will need to fit in the braided sleeve.
15. Re-install Back Side and cover of the Electronic Box.
16. Re-install Mounting Block
