Components:
1. Soft magnetic plate with adhesive backing
2. PEI build plate
Preparations:
Lower the printing platform of the Pro2 series printer to a height that is convenient for removing the build plate, and then turn off the printer.
Operation Steps:
1. After the Pro2 original build plate cools down, open the front door of the printer and take out the original build plate.
2. Tear off the adhesive backing paper from the back of the soft magnetic plate.
Note: Before tearing off the adhesive backing paper from the back of the soft magnetic plate, it is recommended to place the soft magnetic plate on the printing platform to confirm the placement orientation of the soft magnetic plate and ensure that the screw holes on the soft magnetic plate match the screws on the printing platform. As shown in the figure in Step 4, the length of Line Segment 1 should be longer than that of Line Segment 2.
3. Align one corner of the soft magnetic plate with the corner of the printing platform (as outlined in red below). During alignment, ensure that one edge of the corner is aligned with the position limiter on the printing platform (as outlined in blue below). Then, adhere one edge of the soft magnetic plate to the printing platform and use one hand to press the soft magnetic plate flat from the adhered corner downwards (as indicated by the red arrow below).
4. Slowly release the soft magnetic plate with the other hand to make it fit the printing platform, and then compress it.
5. Lift one end of the PEI build plate and place the other end onto the soft magnetic plate, aligning its bottom edge with the two position limiters on the printing platform (as outlined in red in Step 4).
6. With the PEI build plate adhering to the soft magnetic plate, slowly lay down the other end of the PEI build plate to ensure that both sides are aligned with the two sides of the printing platform. Installation of the soft magnetic plate and PEI build plate is complete.
