1. Power the printer off.
2. Remove the ribbon cable from the extruder controller board (If the connector is covered by glue, remove glue with the small flathead screwdriver).
3. Open the cable chain.
1) Open the cable chain with a spatula.
2) Take the mounting block of the cable chain from the top cover.
3) Remove the two screws inside the mounting block.
4. Remove the back cover
Use a Philips head screwdriver to remove 10 screws on the back panel (11 screws for Pro2 Plus). Remove the wire of the air filter, and then remove the back cover. Remove four screws, and then remove the air filter from the back cover.
5. Cut the zip ties.
1) Cut the zip ties under the top cover to release the ribbon cable.
2) Open the back cover of the wiring tube and cut the zip ties to further release the ribbon cable.
6. Remove the ribbon cable.
1) Gently and carefully put the printer on its side.
2) Open the cover of the electronic box.
3) Carefully remove the tape wrapping the wiring harness under the electronic box.
4) Unplug the ribbon cable from the Motion Controller Board and remove it from the printer.
7. Install the new cable.
1) Reinstall the new harness into the Motion Controller Board.
2) Pass the new cable through the bottom hole of the electronic box, and then up to the junction tube. Make sure to pass through the wiring tube completely, then under the top cover until you reach the mounting block.
3) Wrap the cable with the wires with tape under the electronic box.
4) Reinstall the mounting block.
5) Attach the new cable with other cables with zip ties.
6) Hold the filter system in one hand and reinstall the 4 screws with the other hand.
7) The small arrow on the fan label must be upward. Pay attention to the fan cable.
8. Install the back/side panel.
1) Turn the machine upright.
2) Re-attach the Back/Side Panel and reinstall the cover of the electronic box.
