① Phillips head screwdriver
② 3mm hex wrench
2. Gently place the printer down on the left side (with the filament door facing up), and then use a 3mm hex wrench to remove the four M4x8 screws on the bottom cover.
3. Remove the bottom panel to expose the stepper drive.
4. Disconnect the two plugs from the drive to be replaced. Confirm that the label on the cable matches the correct axis (X/Y/Z).
5. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the outside retaining screw on the stepper drive.
6. Remove the inside screw on the drive with a Phillips head screwdriver.
7. Remove and replace the stepper drive and reinstall the screws (2) to fix it.
8. Plug the two cables into the drives.
9. The same method can be applied to all stepper drives.
10. Attach the bottom cover and reinstall the screws.
