Tools:
① 3mm hex wrench
② 2.5mm hex wrench
A. Remove the Air Filter Fan Assembly and Remove the Cooling Fan.
1. Turn off the printer and cut off the power.

2. Move the printer and turn the back cover of the cooling fan to your operating position.

3. Remove the 6 screws on the back cover of the cooling fan using a 2.5mm hex wrench.

4. Remove the back cover of the cooling fan. The air filter fan assembly should be visible. The larger fan at the top is the cooling fan. The smaller fan under the cooling fan is the air filter fan.

5. Remove the 2 screws of the air filter fan assembly using a 2.5mm hex wrench. Make sure to hold the air filter fan assembly to prevent it from falling off.

6. Locate the connectors of the two cables, press the buckle, and remove the air filter fan assembly.

7. Remove the air filter assembly.

8. Remove the 4 screws of the cooling fan using a 3.0mm hex wrench.

B. Install the Replacement Cooling Fan.
1. Take out the replacement cooling fan.

2. Install the 4 screws on the cooling fan using a 3.0mm hex wrench.

3. Prepare the installed air filter fan assembly.

4. Find the positive and negative directions of the buckle. Press, and hold the buckle. Then connect the two connectors, and install the air filter fan assembly on the printer.
Note: In the connecting sequence of the cables, the long cable on the air filter fan assembly is connected to the short cable on the printer, the short cable on the air filter fan assembly is connected to the long cable on the printer. The cooling fan can only turn on when the switch is open the screen. If it is connected incorrectly, the cooling fan will turn on when the switch is closed on the screen.

C. Check If the Cooling Fan Runs Normally.
1. Find the power switch at the bottom right on the back of the printer and turn on the switch.
2. Select the “Tune” tab on the screen.

3. Click the "Open" tab on the screen framed in red to turn on the “External Cooling”.

4. Check If the Cooling Fan Runs Normally.

D. Reinstall the Air Filter Fan Assembly and Install the Cooling Fan Back Cover.
1. Hold the air filter fan assembly from above, and install the 2 screws on the air filter fan assembly using a 2.5mm hex wrench.
Note: For safety reasons, two people are recommended to operate in cooperation to prevent slipping of assembly.

2. Install the 6 screws securely on the back cover of the cooling fan using a 2.5mm hex wrench.

3. Complete the Installation.
