Tools:
① 2.5mm hex wrench
② Phillips screwdriver
1. Confirm that the printing task is complete and no model is on the build plate. Turn off the printer and unplug the power cable.

2. Place soft cushions on the ground to protect the printer for the following steps.

3. Tilt the printer with the front door face down. Then carefully place the printer onto the cushions with the switch facing up. Figure 2 shows the location of the switch.
Note: Be careful not to damage the printer during this process.

4. Remove all 4 securing screws on the printer's bottom cover using a Phillips screwdriver. Then remove the bottom cover.

5. Use a 2.5mm hex wrench to remove the 2 securing screws on the switch.

6. Hold the back cover of the switch with one hand, and unscrew the screws from the switch. Remove the 2 nylon sleeves from the 2 screws.
Note: The position of the back cover and one of the nylon sleeves is shown in the figure below. The second nylon sleeve is located inside. Carefully remove the sleeves to avoid losing them.

7. Pull out the switch. Then remove the 3 connecting cables from the printer, as shown in the figure below. From left to right, the colors of the connecting cables are yellow, blue, and magenta.

8. Remove the switch.
Note: The figure below shows the switch after it has been removed. Notice that there are one blue and one magenta cable plugged into the switch.

9. Unplug the blue and magenta cables from the switch.

10. Prepare a new switch, then connect the blue and magenta connecting cables to the new switch, as shown in the figure below.
Note:
1. Make sure to connect the 2 cables in order, with magenta on the left and blue on the right. Insert the two cables tightly.
2. Use the area marked in red in the figures below as a guide when reconnecting the 2 cables.

10. Connect the yellow, blue, and magenta cables on the printer to the new switch in sequence.
Note:
1. From left to right, the sequence is yellow, blue, and magenta. Yellow is located on the left. Blue and magenta are located on the right.
2. The area marked in red in the figures below should be at the back. Connect the cables as shown in the following figures.

11. Insert the switch to the printer. Then use a 2.5mm hex wrench to install the 2 securing screws to the switch.

12. Pass the 2 nylon sleeves through the 2 securing screws. Then align the back cover with the 2 securing screws, and tighten the 2 securing screws.
Note: The other screw is in the inner side, please be careful when putting the nylon sleeve back to the screws to prevent the nylon sleeves from falling off.

13. Close the bottom cover of the printer and tighten the 4 securing screws.

14. Return the printer to its location. Connect the power cord, and turn on the printer. If the printer does not power on, check whether the connection cables on the switch are properly connected.
