There are many settings you can change to optimize the print results in Edit when slicing.

Figure 1: Edit Template.

After click "Edit" button, you can choose enter Simple Mode as Figure 2.

Figure 2: Simple Mode button.

The Simple Mode interface gives you a quick view of the most basic template settings as Figure 2.

Figure 2: Edit Template (Simple Mode).

Infill Density indicates the percentage of the inside of the model that will be filled with material. The more infill printed inside, the more solid the model will be.

: Press this button to return to the default parameter, this function only works for the default profiles.

Shells indicates how many loops will make up the model’s walls. A decimal value will alternate the number of shells printed. Ex. 2.5 will print 3 shells then 2.

Platform Addition indicates whether Raft/Brim/Skirt are being used

The Skirt is a loop or series of loops of plastic extruded around the first layer of the model to confirm a steady flow of filament for the model.

The Raft is composed of a few layers placed on the printing surface before the model is printed to help a model stick to the printing surface.

The Brim is an outward extension of the first layer (Like the brim of a hat)

that allows for better adhesion to the printing surface.

Support means that the printer will print support structures for a model’s overhanging part.

The None setting refers to no support structure for the model.

The Touch Platform Only setting refers to only adding support structures which can touch the build platform. Those located from one surface of the model to another surface of the model will not be created.

The All setting refers to adding support structures to all the overhanging parts of the model that are equal to or greater than the Maximum support overhang angle.

Click "Advanced" button to enter the templates Advanced Settings. Advanced Settings include Layer, Extruder, Infill, Support, Platform Additions, Cooling, Advanced, Ooze, Other, GCode and we will go through them one by one.

You can see the template you are using in the top left corner of the Advanced Settings. And quick search settings.
