Tools:
① 2mm hex wrench
② U disk
1. Turn off the printer and disconnect the power.
2. The Motion Controller Board is located on the left side of the printer, open the side door to find the Motion Controller Board box.

3. Remove the sticker on the Motion Controller Board box and open the Motion Controller Board box. If it doesn't open, you can use an hex wrench or flat-blade screwdriver to pry open the Motion Controller Board box.
Note: Please keep the sticker in a safe place for subsequent transportation.

4. Use a 2 mm hex wrench to remove the four screws marked in red.

4. Unplug all cables from the motion controller board. There are labels on some cables. You can make labels for all connection cables and remember their corresponding interface on the board, so that you can you can correctly connect them in further installation.
Note: Some cable connectors have clips, please press the clips and remove the cable carefully to avoid damage to the cable connector.

5. The picture below shows all the interfaces on the Motion Controller Board. We have marked all the interfaces; you can label all cables with the corresponding interfaces.

1. Prepare a new Motion Controller Board.

2. Connect all the connecting cables according to the interface diagram and the labels you made.
Note: Please connect each cable correctly and plug it in tightly. A poor connection may prevent the printer from functioning properly.

3. Use a 2mm hex wrench to install 4 securing screws to install the Motion Controller Board on the printer.

1. After you replace the motion controller board, you need to reinstall the motion board firmware. For how to install the Motion Controller Board firmware, please refer to Pro3 Series-How to Update Motion Controller Board firmware.
4. When all cables are connected, turn on the printer, run a print job, and check whether the printer can operate normally. If the printer is not functioning properly, check the cables. Please contact support@raise3d.com for assistance with any issues.
